Samuel’s background is in editorial, fashion and music photography. He studied Fine Arts at Greenville College and holds a BA in photojournalism from SUNY Empire State College. He began his career as an assistant to such distinguished photographers as Anthony Barboza, Frank Ockenfeld, and Mario Testino, and went on to work for clients as diverse as Poets and Writers Magazine, SONY Music and The New York Times. He has photographed numerous musicians, writers, entertainers, and two U.S. presidents. Sam has an edgy, non-traditional and photojournalistic / documentary style that works well for couples looking for unique and candid photos of their day.
