André Maier

André grew up in Münster, Germany. He studied Molecular Biology at TU Berlin and King’s College London and, finally, photography (his passion) at the prestigious London College of Printing. His firm belief that people look best when not aware of being photographed is clearly reflected in the natural beauty of his extensive body of work. André’s calm manner and unobtrusive style and his ability to make his subjects look effortlessly captivating has allowed him to photograph many wonderful events, including several days with the Dalai Lama. André also was president of the United Nations Photographic Society.
