André Maier has a special gift for photographing subjects and events so that they look as natural as they do in person. André tells a story with his photography — much the way a journalist would.

André Maier

André Maier has photographed New York since 1992. Trained at the London College of Printing, he began in photojournalism: magazine work, extraordinary rooms, once the Dalai Lama. He then turned the same eye to weddings, mitzvahs, and the city’s evenings. The photographs are made to be lived with, on walls and in albums, for decades.
